Day or Night, Wichita Kansas is the jewel of the prairie! Be sure to see downtown Wichita, the sunflowers on the prairie and The Keeper of the Plains statue on the Arkansas Riverwalk.

Join the Friendship Force of Kansas, Inc.

As a member of Friendship Force of Kansas, Inc., you become part of a network of millions of members worldwide, dedicated to learning about other cultures and understanding each other in order to help create a world of peace.

You will have the opportunity to travel to other countries as an Ambassador, be home-hosted there and learn about the culture from a different prospective than you might have if you travel only as a tourist.  This experience will enrich you beyond your imagination. (See “upcoming exchanges” to find out where our club will be traveling next year)

You can also host for one week, in your home, visitors from other Friendship Force clubs throughout the world.  As your guest, they will experience life as you live it, meet your family and friends, learn about our city and region, and, as frequently happens, become life-long friends. (See “upcoming exchanges” to find out who’s coming here next year)

If, for whatever reason, you are not able to host in your home you can still be an active member by day-hosting.  This means taking someone else’s guests for the day either to planned events or to someplace they or you would particularly like to visit.

Another way to be involved is to be a dinner host.  During our home-hosting weeks, which are called “exchanges”, our home-hosts and their guests are scheduled to visit the home of members who are not home-hosts and have dinner.  This allows non-hosting members to meet the guests and also gives the home-hosts a break from planning a dinner on that particular evening.

We all have great fun with our exchanges and would love to have you join us.

Still have questions?  Would like to know more?  Go to “contact us” at the top of this page, click on it and then click on the e-mail address and someone will be in contact with you.  Want to stick your toe in the water and see what it feels like?  Feel free to join us at OUR NEXT EVENT.
