TRAVEL INSURANCE IS REQUIRED FOR OUTGOING AMBASSADORS
All Friendship Force Ambassadors are required to secure adequate travel and medical insurance to cover emergencies during their Journeys. This requirement can be fulfilled in one of the following ways:
- through the ambassador's existing insurance policy if it covers international travel or out of state travel, or
- by purchasing a separate travel insurance package.
The Ambassador Application and Agreement form includes the following statement: "I hereby agree to secure adequate travel and medical insurance for the duration of the Journey.
(Note: This policy, especially designed for FF members, can be purchased for non-FF trips also.)
